WP01 - Project Management

This WP aims to elaborate mechanism for transnational cooperation regarding management aspects which will enable consortium to deliver the project according to technical description in the application, within the budget/time-frame and of high quality.
The manual will be elaborated which outlines the management procedures regarding:
1) Role and responsibilities of coordinator concerning:
a) overall planning and progress of the project
b) overall quality assurance
c) overall follow-up and evaluation
d) conflict resolution
e) ensuring for the project relevant communication structure
f) financial reporting to EU
2) Role and responsibilities of core partners concerning:
a) planning and implementation of activities
b) milestone and deliverable achievement
c) follow-up and evaluation reports to coordinator
d) financial reporting to coordinator
3) Decision-making procedures: decisions in the project will be taken by the management group in the democratic way. In case of conflict situation and even votes the coordinator will have decisive vote
4) Reporting: responsible partners will send interim reports after completion of each WP to the coordinator for quality assessment. The interim and final reports required by EU will be written and compiled by the coordinator
5) Financing: all project partners will keep accurate accounts of the project, which will be used to compile the annual and final cost statements required by EU and will provide the financial record for auditing purposes
6) Quality assurance: the project will be managed according to FU’s ‘General Procedure for Quality Control’ for formal approval procedures and documentation clearance.
Communication system:
1) E-mail/SKYPE/Windows messenger in day-to-day communication.
2) Steering Committee meetings will be held at WP intervals during the project. Participation by project partners and stakeholders is obligatory.
3) Ad-hoc meetings will be arranged to deal with specific issues.
