Type: LLP-ERASMUS
Category: LLP Transfer of Innovation
Parent: EQLEARN- Learning for Equality and Empowerment-Learning for ALL

Period:
July 2010

Description of work package
The aim of the workpackage is to train the trainers that will implement the pilot training programs. The main objectives of this training are:
1. To enable the trainers to have a clear understanding of the ERF
2. To help the trainers to link the European Reference Framework with the designed programs
3. To train the trainers to use the different methodological tools (those designed by COA as well as new methodological tools) for different disadvantaged groups and different learners. In other words, although all the trainers will be delivering the same curricula, they must be in position to adopt and select the methodological tools used according to their audience.
After the implementation of the trainings, during a trainer workshop different methodological tools will be assigned to different disadvantage groups.

Description of Activities
The work package includes the training of the trainers which will have duration of 2 days and will take place in Greece. During the Train -the Trainer workshop, trainers will be trained to use the different methodological tools that have been designed for each competence and to adjust these tools according to the disadvantaged group as well as each learner.
After the completion, the workshop will be evaluated by all the trainers
This workshop will be interactive since the objective here is to train the trainers in order to be able to train disadvantaged groups. Each module has been designed or improved by a specific trainer (from a specific partner). These trainers are now responsible for training their colleagues on the use of different methodological tools (for different disadvantaged groups) but also to exchange ideas on how these tools could be improved.
