10. Internal and External Evaluation

The objective of this wp is to implement an on going evaluation. The following will be evaluated:
(i) The work program in order to monitor achievement of outcomes against agreed indicators & time-scale.
(ii) The quality of deliverables
(iii) The evaluation of the performance of the consortium
The evaluation of the above will be implemented through internal & external evaluation
A. INTERNAL
The internal evaluation will consist of the following:
1. Evaluation of the deliverables as compared to those planned their quality, their short term & long term impact etc. This evaluation will be implemented, using the following methodologies :
a. 2 questionnaires -1 interim & 1 final that will be completed by partners to assess the quality of each deliverable in each work package.
More specifically the following will be assessed:
• Guides (value added to target groups)
• Activities & Events (effectiveness & applicability of planned activities)
• Participation
• Reactions (usefulness of the reactions provoked by the partnership)
• Awareness & Learning (information flow effectiveness from consortium to the relative actors)
• Actions (applicability & effectiveness of the specific actions)
• Short term & long term Impact
b. Evaluation of participants for learning sessions (using output from wp5)
2. Evaluation of the coordination & the effectiveness of the consortium which will be implemented by EDITC using the following methodologies
a. 2 questionnaires 1 interim & 1 final that will be completed by partners to assess the PM system, the effectiveness & efficiency of the coordinator, the overall effectiveness of the consortium, the different methods of communication etc
b. Evaluation of participants at the end of each steering committee meeting
B. EXTERNAL
Appointment of an external evaluator who will produce the interim & final report. When hiring the evaluator attention will be paid to the experts’ specific experience on quality control & continuous improvement of processes.
