IO5-Interactive e-learning platform for HoReCa4VET

The results of the HoReCa4VET project will be solutions that make self-learning and improving skills easier in the workplace as well as enabling possible self-learning in convenient moment of time and will support the learners when performing vocational tasks. The proposed project does not replace any of existing training courses.

The platform will be divided into: validation and certification part, where the user can find the curricula, educational packages, which enable him to gain another level – certification with the bank of test, games, quizzes, etc., so there will be tools for the diagnosis of learning outcomes from the validation part.


The structure of multimedia materials developed for the profession of an employee of HoReCa department will include a division into qualifications, skills, knowledge and social competence modules. As part of the developed resources and modules, the number of exercises will be increased due to the development of the subject matter and strengthening the element of repeatability of vocabulary and exercises. Each resource will include content from the labour market, places and positions typical of the profession and theirs equipment.

The methodological materials will include methodological guides for the teacher, consisting of scenarios of classes developed as multimedia materials for a foreign language professionally oriented in VET schools. E-resources will be developed in accordance with IT standards and solutions. To make the teaching methods more attractive, students will use the educational game developed on the
e-learning platform, where, in addition to the prepared e.g. comic-book, there will be a professional vocabulary dictionary.


There is currently low access to content, tools and resources supporting the process of vocational education in schools. One of the obstacles was the poor infrastructure to learn a profession, outdated workrooms - which have no impact on currently used technologies. Due to the implementation of the project, there will be an increased use of the growing demand of the economy for innovative, modernized content. Effective use of modernized content, tools and resources will support the process of vocational education.


By strengthening the system of greater use of open educational resources at school, project results will contribute to increasing innovation, efficiency and quality of education.

The additional results will increase skills and achievements,improve cultural awareness and better language skills of the representatives of the partner institutions as well as all project beneficiaries
