Project: Common Quality Assurance Framework-VET, a provider online model
Website: http://fu.mysite.nu/

The important role that vocational education and training (VET) plays in each country's efforts in developing required human resources cannot be over-emphasised in today’s world. Providing learning and training opportunities for citizens to acquire appropriate skills both technical and social is a prime necessity for all countries and governments in order to cope with the rapid social, economic and technological changes.
“At a time of economic crisis, high quality vocational education and training (VET) have a key role to play in helping individual countries and the European Union to address the challenges of unemployment and the skills mismatch and to return to sustainable growth and employment.” (European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training-EQAVET)

Quality assurance is a central element in supporting European education and training systems to become more competitive and being able to address skill mismatch in the labour market. Quality assurance is also an essential instrument to connect Vocational Education and Training (VET) and to support the development of a common European Qualifications Framework (EQF) - the Bruges Communiqué.
Quality assurance is the subject of a one day conference to which experts and stakeholders from many Member States and high level representatives of the European Commission and Social Partners are invited.
The organisers of the conference are the partners in the Leonardo da Vinci project “CQAF-VET ONLINE VERSION” with support of Swedish National Agency for Higher VET.
The main aims of the conference are to
 Offer an overview of EU policy on QA in VET
 Share methods and tools elaborated by the projects;
 Reflect on the needs for development of national strategies for implementation of EQAVET
