Project: EMKIT2 - Empowerment Toolkit for Trainers for the Development of the Social and Cultural Competence and Media Literacy for Low Skilled Migrant Women
EDITC organized on the 15th of May an online Train of Trainers Workshop. The aim of the workshop was
1. To present the idea of Active Citizenship Scale and how it is linked with 3 Key Competences (Media Literacy, Cultural Awareness and Expression and Social and Civic Competence)
2. To explain the logic of the online assessment tool, how to use it and more importantly how to interpret the results
3. To review the workshops available in each of the 3 competences and deliver some of them as an example for the trainers
4. Discuss how EMKIT2 can contribute to the development of migrant women and how it can be embedded in other training activities offered by the trainers
All the participants are trainers, coaches and facilitators working with migrant women and are involved in projects (funded and co-funded by the EU) for migrant women. The trainers were people from other training providers who are involved in the empowerment of migrants (including migrant women) as well as 1 trainer from EDITC.
